This B&W picture is transformed from a color image which is almost monochromatic: white marble is inlayed with patterns cut from mostly yellow and brown stones. This B&W image is more dramatic, as it focuses one's attention on the intricate designs. (This is a detail of the "Baby Taj" (XVIIc.), tomb of the grandfather of the woman for whom the Taj Mahal was built.)
